Just thought I'd drop a quick note to tell you the raging success of my wedding cupcakes. What a hit they were, people appreciated something different. With it being a lunch time function not everyone would have wanted cake, so that was a great alternative. They were DELICIOUS. Thanks for being a part of our very special day Ailynn.

"A lot of people were surprised when I said I was having cupcakes instead of cake for my wedding, but I was not a traditional bride so for me it made sense. We also didn't have to cut any cake. Everyone loved them, they became a feature of the wedding, something unique to make the night even more memorable. I also hosted a cupcake testing party with bridesmaids and groomsmen as well as family to pick out the cupcakes for the big day. Ailynn was prompt, friendly and flexible...she even made us 2 smaller cakes at the last minute!! When you have so many stresses to worry about on the day it was nice to know that one thing was going to be fun, creative and well done. I can hardly wait for her store to open...people keep asking how they can get more of those great cupcakes. And you have to try the mint marshmallows...too good for mass consumption."

Hello Ailynn,
I would like you to know that Jamie and I were absolutely thrilled with the cake you made us for our wedding on November 25 th, 2006. It was beautiful, and all of our guests remarked on how lovely (yet whimsical) it was.
Thankfully, it also survived to the cake cutting, because two of my guests (aged 2 and 4) were extremely interested in it. It wasn't completely unscathed when it was cut, as there were some small children's fingerprints in it (when they couldn't resist tasting the icing).
Unfortunately, Jamie and I weren't able to sample much of the cake, though the pieces that we did have (during the cutting ceremony) were delicious.
If you should ever need a reference, I would be more than pleased to provide one for you.
